In Great Golf Tournaments – Volume 1, I share with you the experience of re-living classic golf tournaments that featured some of the top golfers in the game’s history.
Each chapter is written as a short story covering a tournament that was played over 50 years ago. Some of them were so gripping that they’re routinely recalled by television broadcasters and sportswriters today, such as the 1975 Masters. Others have been seemingly forgotten, yet offer no less sensational drama, like the 1964 Western Open.
All the stories are told in a style designed to make you feel the emotions of the golfers and fans, as though you’re there following the action. The suspense builds until you find out who wins at the nail-biting conclusion of each story.
The book was rated as one of the hot new releases in golf on Amazon in July, 2025. It is available on Amazon and other major online booksellers.

The Brooklyn Dodgers were loved by their fans, possibly more so than any other professional sports team in history. In 1955, the Dodgers’ core group of players, who became known as “The Boys of Summer,” had played together for a remarkably long time, and yet had never won a World Series.
The reader will have the opportunity to share in the excitement of the Dodgers’ incredible 1955 season, which was also the rookie year for Sandy Koufax. The book begins with the Dodgers achieving the fastest start of any team in baseball history. Each chapter is an individual short story, often taking you back to a single game in 1955. The stories capture the human interest elements and the drama of the games in a way that will make you feel like you were in the ballpark or listening on the radio.
